The OpenAM Customization and APIs (FR-421) course provides a hands-on technical introduction to OpenAM 12 APIs and customization use cases. You will examine the OpenAM extension points and gain the skills required to extend and integrate an OpenAM 12 deployment in a real world context. Development best practices are demonstrated in a series of labs.

• Have attended OpenAM Deployment (FR-420) or equivalent experience
• Have hands-on knowledge of Unix commands and tools like vi, grep, find
• Basic knowledge of how to use Virtual Machines (for lab exercises)
• Basic understanding of how LDAP works
