The Desktop and Mobile Infrastructure Engineer will participate in implementation and build capacity of IT projects that involve desktop and mobile infrastructure, endpoint security, and related patching and compliance initiatives. This individual will join an IT Team involved in administration and management of a Mobile Device Management Solution. The ideal candidate will be well organized, process focused, and self-driven as this is a fast-paced and highly technical environment. The Desktop and Mobile Infrastructure Engineer will participate in:
Mobile Device Management integration with Office 365
Selection and implementation of a Threat Prevention solution
Mobile device user & security policy definition
EULA & Privacy/Security Practices
Collaboration with stakeholders to understand and architect mobility initiatives
Cross-platform endpoint administration
Development of end-user focused documentation for ancillary teams
Enrollment process and support procedures
Inventory and discovery of mobile devices and applications providing tracking and reporting data
Defining and configuring MDM policies for specific use-cases across all mobile platforms
Distribution & configuration of enterprise applications for mobile
Required Experience:
Strength in scripting / automation
Enterprise level exposure with application development background
Windows patch management procedures experience
Windows 7 & 10 and Mac OSX
Background in software and license management
Able to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audience
AutoIt, VBS, Windows Installer experience
Preferred Experience:
PowerShell expertise strongly preferred
Ownership/implementation of WSUS, Shavlik, etc. preferred
Experience in Symantec Altiris or Microsoft SCCM a plus
Unix & Windows server experience preferred
iOS/Android application development experience is beneficial
