Migration to SAP HANA using Database Migration Option (DMO) (HA250) Course Overview:
This course enables you step by step to prepare and start a combined update and migration of a SAP system to a SAP HANA database with technical details regarding the process. The Database Migration Option (DMO) of the Software Update Manager (SUM) helps you with simplified migration steps.
NOTE: Course based on software release:
- SAP HANA SPS11
- Software Update Manager 1.0 SP 16
Who Should Attend:
- This course has been designed for technical consultants and administrators who will plan a migration to SAP HANA Database.
- This course provides a step by step exercise how to prepare and start this kind of migration. The exercise covers the DMO specific steps. Due to the time constraints, it is not possible to conduct the complete migration during the course.
- After this course the participants are well prepared for a successfully migration to SAP HANA.

Before attending this class, you must have attended the following:
- Attended HA100 – SAP HANA Introduction
- Recommend attending TADM70 – SAP System: Operating System and Database Migration
- Recommend attending ADM328 – SAP EHP Installation and Upgrade
- Experience with SAP software maintenance using Software Update Manager (SUM)
