VersaStack Implementation Fast Track (VSIFT) Overview:

The VersaStack solution by Cisco and IBM is an integrated infrastructure designed for cloud and enterprise application deployments. It combines the performance and innovation of the Cisco UCS Integrated Infrastructure with the versatility and efficiency of the IBM Storwize storage system. The VersaStack solution, backed by a Cisco Validated Design (CVD) provides a faster delivery of applications, greater IT efficiency and less risk.

The VersaStack Implementation Fast Track (VSIFT) 3-day course delivers a shortened accelerated version of our 5-day VSI training. VSIFT is designed for experienced data center system engineers, network engineers and administrators implementing and administering VersaStack solutions. This course covers key implementation procedures, management and basic troubleshooting tasks on the Cisco Nexus 9000, Cisco MDS 9100, Cisco UCS, IBM Storwize V7000 Unified and Cisco Nexus 1000V.

Note: VSIFT is a shorter version of our VSI course. It assumes you have a working knowledge of data center technologies including the Cisco Nexus 9000, MDS900, UCS and 1000V series of products as well as IBM’s Storwize V7000.

VersaStack Implementation Fast Track (VSIFT) Prerequisites:

Before attending this course, you must have the following:

General knowledge of data center networking technologies
CCNP Data Center or equivalent Cisco UCS and Nexus 9000 knowledge
Basic understanding of storage operations using Cisco MDS 900 and IBM Storwize
Basic knowledge of server and server virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere ESXi and Cisco 1000V switched
