Before attending this course, you must have the following:

• Basic knowledge of the logistical processes: production order or process order
• Attended AC506 – Basics of Product Cost Planning
• Recommend attending AC040 – Business Processes in Management Accounting (Controlling) → AC507 – Additional Functions of Product Cost Planning

Cost Object Controlling for Make-to-Stock (AC521) Course Content:

• Product Cost by Period and Product Cost by Order
• Objects of Cost Object Controlling: product cost collector, production order, and process order
• Plan functions: preliminary costing for product cost collectors and production
• Actual functions: Simultaneous costing based on goods issues from warehouse, confirmations, purchases
• Period-end closing (template allocations, overhead rates, work in process, variance calculation, settlement)
• Information system
