The Project Manager will be responsible for managing complex Information System development projects. This position is located in Louisville, KY and is a long-term contract engagement with a Fortune 500 Healthcare company.
Responsibilities Include:
Oversees multiple, simultaneous projects for I/S departments using standardized methodology. Effectively manages time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently.
Ensures overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of complex and cross-functional project oriented work efforts.
Tracks key project milestones and adjusts project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers.
Demonstrates very high knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools.
Requirements:
7+ years of combined IS and business project management leadership experience
PM experience in application development
Must demonstrate exemplary leadership ability and ability to tolerate ambiguity
Proven working knowledge of current industry I/S disciplines, methodologies and best practices Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent experience
Preferences:
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred
Health Care industry experience preferred
