Software Developer

This is a direct hire role with a company headquartered in Louisville, KY that is known for having a fun and relaxed environment. The Software Developer will join a software development team designing, developing and implementing innovative products using .NET 4.0, MVC, and Entity Framework. This team works within the software development lifecycle and Agile Scrum process,

Responsibilities Include:
Develop software from approved designs and/or requirements adhering to the software development lifecycle.
Perform research and development, as needed, that contribute to technological innovations for software development.
Assist with the technical architecture of software products by helping to contribute to the software designs and ideas for new functionality, improvements and bug fixes.
Assist with oversight and management of development resources, as needed.
Effectively manage the source code repository.
Fully document any developed software and ensure code quality is in line with defined coding standards.
Oversee regular code review with software developers.
Provide time and effort estimates development activities and collaborate with Applications Development Manager for incorporating time estimates into development tickets for sprint planning.
Effectively develop code and manage assigned timelines within the software development life cycle to provide on time deliverable code releases.
Contribute collaboratively within a creative and fast paced environment, designing innovative solutions that are architecturally solid and scalable.
Work within an Agile development environment, adhering to process standards and best practices.
Develop strong coding solutions using C# and SQL that perform and fit well within the context of a larger product.
