The Telecommunications Analyst will work will directly with the Manager responsible for planning, implementing, analyzing and maintaining company-wide NEC phone systems. Duties will include the design and implementation of NEC phone systems for all company locations along with the maintenance of the NEC phone systems. This is a contract to hire opportunity in Louisville, KY.
Daily/Weekly Responsibilities Include:
Order equipment for new installs and replacement parts
Report outages to Singlepoint and TDM (PRIs, stand-alone lines, T1s and back up internet)
Work with Data Network Team to install new cabling adds/ repair cabling when needed
Remotely troubleshoot phone system issues
Coordinate new system installs
Monthly Responsibilities Include:
Order new circuits from Singlepoint (T1s) and TDM (PRIs)
Install phone systems in new campuses
Order alarm lines/ secondary internet for new campuses
Remotely troubleshoot networking issues
Travel to campuses to replace network equipment when needed
Qualifications:
3 years of telecommunications/NEC experience
Knowledge of computer applications, hardware and software and telecommunications platforms
Experience with current network hardware, protocols, network operating systems and Internet standards
Experience building, maintaining, and repairing NEC IPK, IPK2 8100 phone systems is preferred
