The Web Application Developer will be responsible for supporting an existing web application portfolio, and provide technical documentation as needed for new and existing applications. This organization has a varied, fast paced environment and this individual will be expected to thrive in that situation. The Web Application Developer will also be expected to provide coaching and guidance to junior programmers on the team. This position can be either direct hire or contract to hire depending on the circumstances.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
5+ years of web application development experience
Java Server Pages (JSP) Development Skills
Understanding of J2EE architecture and Java development framework
Knowledge and understanding of AJAX, XML, HTML, JavaScript
Development experience using JSR-168[A1] Frameworks: Struts, Spring, JSF
Rational Application Developer, Eclipse, JDeveloper or equivalent IDE
General know of Java, .Net, other web related technologies
Ability to work with limited supervision and with team
