In the SAP Ariba Sourcing: Event Management Advanced Features Part 1 course, you will learn advanced functionality of the Ariba Sourcing Professional solution, including various methods of scoring to evaluate supplier responses/bids, how to hide content from suppliers until they meet specific conditions, and how to run truly global sourcing events with suppliers participating in multiple currencies, languages, and time zones simultaneously. Students will also learn about alternative responses. This course contains lab exercises to reinforce the concepts presented during the class.

Before attending this course, you must have the following:

- Describe template rules that will apply to the features in this course
- Hide event content from suppliers until they meet specific conditions
- Add content to the Sourcing Library for future use by other buyers
- Outline when to use sealed envelope bidding to obtain bids in public tenders
- Translate an event into multiple languages
- Use multiple currencies and exchange rates
- Describe scoring and the various methods of grading: Pre-grading, post-grading, and blind grading
- Use bundles to solicit discount pricing
- Allow suppliers to provide additional bids showing how they can provide discount pricing, such as with volume pricing or alternative materials, services or solutions
